Scouting today (Poor Deer)

Went to the farm today to do a little scouting, Look what i found



Good size doe in several pieces



Looks as she got hung trying to jump a fence and got hung in the top wire.
The Coyotes took care of the rest



Guess where I'll be hunting later this week and what call I will use.

Jake (My Lab) was checking it out

Yep they are creatures that take every advantage they can get and they do like hot meat the best!

I've said it before but squeaking fence wire will bring coyotes in cause they know what it means.

It's kinda/sorta like rattling in Whitetails.  When I'm doing that I beat the [L] out of bushes, the ground and the horns cause I have watched and heard big fella's go at it.  They make a lot of noise so I do when rattling.  With coyotes I'll do the fence stretching and ground scratching in a low area where I can hide but still see them coming down a cutline.

I have done it at night with some success.....

Always been afraid that in the daytime they would bust me around here........
