Bad weather and fightin it"

Well its been bad here lately. alot of people without power and mine going in and out. got trees down everywhere. Heres my house i just built and look what happens.

But i still been huntin alot. Been down to OK and had a good trip and even gettin some called in around the house. This is my new project ,his namne is PUP.

Nice House except the tree trying to grow down through the roof.I am guessing that nobody hurt and that can be fixed.

Yah i prolly do more damage to my house removing it than it did when it fell.

Patrick, That theres goin to be a decoy dog ,,,,,hopefully. He caught wind of one that we jumped up yesterday while walking in to a stand and he started jumpin up and down and growling and lookin for it. I dont realy know what im doing so im just wingin it. I try to just take him as much as i can. He aint but like 4 months old maybe.

We've had no real winter this year. None of the stuff everyone else has been getting. It's just been windy as hell here. We did have a calm couple of days here this weekend. We got a few called in and shot.  Now it's back to windy again.

Nice place Steve. Wish I were closer, I'd jump right in with my chainsaw to help out. My hackberry tree did that to me last year but luckily no damage to the roof.

The tree doesn't look like it did much damage, as bad as it may seem....consider yourself lucky.
What'ya got ahead of there...replace some shingles?...or did it break through the sheeting and mangle up your facia and drip edge too?

Ice!  What we in Ohio refer to as nature's pruning.  Not nice stuff, but it really does do a nice job of pruning.

VV, he is a cat""aa""HOOLA",   I ll tell ya i was made fun of a whila back for writing run on sentences and spelling bad.(great way to judge a coyote hunter,dont ya agree) Anyway . So i didnt even try to spell that right. Hes also Lab,so half Lab and half cat""AAA"HOOOOOLA"". Hes real smart man.

 Sounds like the pup is catching on already! My shorthair will hunt anything, just have to tell him what you're after, or what to ingore for the day. He got all excited today when he smelled a coyote in the back of Waterdog's truck. When I'm building calls I know if I can fool him I nailed it. He's had plenty of screaing rabbits in his jaws!
