Meteor landing

Setting here reading the board last night about 10:15 CST and all of a sudden there was this huge boom that literally rattle everything.
The pictures on the walls rattled for close to 5 seconds as evertyhing vibrated.

Kyle comes running down the steps screamin....  "what the heck is going on!!??"

Come to find out on the news a few minutes later, it was a meteor shower and one went over us and the noise was the sonic boom. That was kinda freaky

Yeasr ago a friend and I were out throwing trash away at work one night when we heard what sounded like a jet enjine looked up and it was a meteor. just as we both saw it it blinked out and the noise stopped.



there is a wright up on Jim's meteor at spaceweather.com if ya want to get more info and see some pics. It looks like it was bright enough to turn the night time sky blue for a few seconds
