In my opinion that deer wasn't hit all that hard. It may have knocked him down , but I remember a dead doe that miraculously made it to my table as fresh meat a month later. I gave my BIL his broadhead back in hte sack that had formed around it.

I also remember old betsy too. She had a strange white spot in her neck from an old wound that had healed nicely.

Shot a spike once that had a perfect four blade scar just above and behind his right knee. Not one sign of it when he walked.

Best thing about bowhunting is that deer often recover from wounds. HOPE you see him soon Bill. Jimmie
