Because someone did it for me.  :argh: I went in today to take some pictures and found it laying on the ground. I don't know if they went to get tools to finish the job or it was an animal lover. I set till dark waiting on them to come back, but they didn't. I left them a note asking for a phone number so we could talk. Heck, I even left them a pen just in case they didn't have one.

I feel your pain, Roundman.  I've had a few stands stolen over the years.  I hate a thief.    :argh:

If you waited till dark for their return, my guess would be that they saw you comin and bailed.
Luckily they didnt get away with it.

This is not good, but if they left with it, it would have been worse.  I don't know if I would put it back up for a couple of days.

I've never had a ladder stand stolen but I did put up a brand spankin new ladder stand about a week before bow season last year and on opening day of bow season I found it flat as a pancake :madd: You see we had a wind storm come through the day before and broke the tree that mt stand was in right about the seat height   :doh2: What could I say  At least you still got a stand ,All I got is a pile of scrap metal :noway:
