My son is working down in Valdez and Thompson Pass on the pipeline (he is an electrician).  He gets up early every morning to get in some fishing and has his partner meet him every morning. Click on picture to see video.

While I am not sure, it seems like the fish might be gone for a while.

Cool video John.  :yoyo: :yoyo:  I don't think my hand would have quite as steady.

WOW! I thought it was gonna be a new dog. Not for sure I could have held my ground so well.

Great video!  Fun to watch the bear go after fish.  I've never seen a bear do that in open water, only on confined streams.  I've fished salmon off the riprap near the oil dock across the bay from Valdez town.  Phenomenal numbers of fish.  I am ENVIOUS of your son today.

Pretty cool John. That's funny how busy it is
fishing and don't even really care about him.

:eyebrow: I'm surprised he went unnoticed like that. Nice footage.

I missed this one.

That bear is probably thinking, "I'll act like I don't see him and maybe that camera man will get just a little closer.......".    :laf:   Neat video.
