Okanagan

Gorgeous trees and open forest in soft sculpted terrain, another world from far western snow peaks covered with thick evergreens up to timberline.  I flat out love the woods in the east, with the creeks cutting through rock ledges and leaf covered ground.

The roads are a rabbit warren maze.  Beautiful homes and stonework.   This was in the Valley Forge, Warren region outside of Philadelphia.

Tried two Philly cheese steaks, from two award winning places.  If listing the worlds best foods, Philly cheese steak would not make my top 100.  My apologies, Big George.      Tried Carolina Pit Barbecue in the Charlotte airport on the way home -- and that would score toward the top of 100 best foods.

Went to an Eastern Mountain Sporting Goods store to look for the cap without a button on top as THO suggested but they had sold out of almost all caps of any kind in that store, with minimal selection.
