Well I have been working on several major projects in the past few weeks. Mostly setting up the new equipment and making a few calls here and there so I figured I would show off a little something. Not so long ago another member here asked if anyone made a blue acrylic call. I have come up with a really nice pearl blue number that I am very proud of.

And green one that is currently unfinised and still on te lathe.

Since I started making calls a few months ago alot as happened. The biggest part was upgrading my shop. I started out with one Rikon lathe and now have a pair to work on. PLus a whole lot of other cool stuff. Coming i nthe fall I will be is full swing making calls and will be working on new stuff in the mean time. Here is a picture of what my shop looks like now. It is a bit messy but at least I know where everythng is. I will see ya all soon. Been trying to fill an order of 50 perfume bottles for the local gift shop. Once in a while it is nice to making something different. Should have taken Ayky's advice about taking on too much work. Well anyhow if anyone might be interested in the calls pictured above give me a shout. I am always somewhere's around.

P.S. if anyone is up in my neck of the woods stop by and we'll do some turnin. This is an open offer to all members.

Brian,

Glad to see you posting again.  You should be proud of that little call.  It looks well made! It looks like a galexy picture taken by the huble telescope.  Your skills are obviously improving.  You weren't kidding when you said you had some special acrylic laying arond were ya?  The shop is looking good! Keep after them, and take care!

Bryan,

Those calls are looking good.  I am sure that you can get some good volumn out of them.  Your shop looks like I wish mine would.  You have room for two people and still be able for each one to turn around.
