Hey guys, I just wanted to give everyone an update on where their calls are. I was finally able to get back in the shop today and do a little work. All of the calls, that have been ordered, are in the finishing stages as we speak. I will tell ya the Buckeye Burl is a pain in the ass to turn and finish. I should have sent it all to be stabilized, but I got them worked out. I will definitely be making one for myself too. This wood is awesome. I will get some pics posted as soon as the are ready.

Jim, if you are wondering where your calls are, they are being sent out tomorrow. I got a couple of new toys.... I mean tools in. I decided since I had to repolish yours, I would do a little decorating. I think they turned out nice. Tell me what ya think.

Thanks guys. I've had a few ideas for adding a little extra touch to the bands for awhile. Not sure if this will be a standard addition or a special order. I'll get the few other designs finished up and let you guys give me some input on which ones ya like better.

Kiyi, I do home stabilize, but after seeing this wood come to life, I would rather have this piece professionally done. I'm still testing different home brews and haven't decided on which really works best.

Todd, the signature is put on with a gold gel ink pen. It takes a bit to get it right, but when it dries, it's there. I will try to get ya a pic of it on another call.

Thanks guys.
