Checking my domain logs tonight and trying to figure out why I'm getting traffic from that url.
Come to find out they have a mock up of my gateway page which is on the Fins and Fur TopSites, right on their main page. 

I dont get it.
The Top Sites is for enhancing each members SEO (Search Engine Optimization) when they put the ranking button on their own web page.
The gateway page prevents false clicks.
So why wouldnt they join and get credit in the Top List and Google engines for the clicks their sending ?

I'm lost

Maybe they think their smart and they think their pullin a fast one on ya but in reality their not so smart but dumb and not pullin as fast as one on ya as they think they are.

Jim, Can you set up a short cut so that everytime they click on the button they are sent to ....I don't know, maybe a dos attack site?  Then paste that short cut and email it to me & I'll post it as something else over where the great ones are.

Jim: You are so far ahead of most of us on these website issues that it is hard to give a clear answer when we don't even understand fully the question.  I don't know who owns it, but it looks like any of the people advertising on there could tell you. In any event, it looks like all of the people who have banners on your site are getting free advertising on their site. If it is not affecting your server or bandwidth, is there any negative things happening as a result of their actions?  Is there no website governing entity that you can report any infringement issues to?

Yeah they aren't really doing anything worng...I mean wrong 

I just couldn't figure out why they would clone my TopSites Gateway page like that instead of joining the TopSites for free and getting some Google page rank out of the hits they are sending us.
They got a pretty good size chunk in the lower center of the page dedicated to Fins and Fur Top Sites   

As long as they aren't making money off our logo there's nothing really wrong with anyone using it. That, and it's not copyrighted.
I'd just like to see them get some good out of posting the link to the TopSites, instead of givin us free traffic. Maybe I'm too sleazy.... I mean too easy.
