250-3000 AKA .250 Savage

Does anyone here have a kid that shoots the .250 Savage??? If so, do you hand load or buy factory ammunition?

Both.  I bought 4 250-3000 rifles last fall for the family and reload 100gr bullets with 38.5 grs of winchester 760 powder and a standard primer.  They chrony at about 2900ft/sec.

I have a set of Hornady FL dies and 50 pieces of brass I have no use for.

Would like to donate it to a kid that can use it. Since you're loading ammo for some kid's, if you want them, they're yours.
