No turkey yet but...

I did find this nice coyote den site while I wandered aimlessly through the woods today

I found a lot more entrances but didn't take a pic of all of them some of them were further away and likely auxiliary dens. Just about all of them had fresh dug dirt in the entrance. There was only maybe 2-3 with leaf litter in the entrance.

No doubt I'd like to find that on my outings. I've never found a den like that.

I've never found anything like that either. I figured they would den in or near a thicket, but that looks pretty open.

I'm guessing the turkeys are somewhere ELSE besides that area.

You would think that Semp...but I did find a turkey track among all of the fresh dirt. I'm guessing a turkey with some big b***s was dusting in the dirt.
