Anyone see it yet?
I spotted her at the newsstand tonight in Madison. Looks like it's got some pretty interesting articles in it again.

Out of all the publications jumping on the band wagon, I have to say that Predator Hunting one is one of about TWO that are worth anything.

Mr Randy Buker even has another article in this copy  :highclap: Lance Homman also. Good stuff guys

Well I got one in my hands................not sure which one it is and I'm just starting to read it, but one thing I have noitce for sure is...................the quality of the pictures in the articles. Some real nice stuff.

straycat

YEP,I've got it. Alot of good info in it.Glad they showed the pics of the grays in a tree, alot of folks seem to disbelieve they are decent climbers.

Speaking of magazines..........the latest PredXtrem really irked me.  :madd: Theres an article in there with a guy advocating the use of FMJ to hunt furbearers, hard to believe the editers let that slide.  :argh:

Sorry........didnt mean to hijack your thread, just pisses me off.

I havent seen the winter issue yeat.Straycat are you sure you have the winter issue?I know that the fall issue has a article about hunting gray foxes, with pics of them in a tree. The story was written by R Buker.I also noticed a letter from Todd Rahm.I just got the fall issue a couple weks ago,and have to agree that it is great.

Bob D

I ordered it by telephone several weeks ago . Thanks for the number Jim. I tried Walmart in three different cities and they didn't have it . I got both issues and the winter edition seems to be the better of the two. Both are good reading and I'm glad I got them.

I just wanted to let you know straycat, that way you will be on the lookout for the winter issue.

R Buker

Thanks Jim.

If I keep writing those articles I may start gettting people to believe that I know something about this sport.    :roflmao:

bigben

i wish they would have more info on foxes.  I guess they only figure that the only predator people hunt is coyote and bobcat.  still a good mag though

bigben,

You might try sending that very note to the magazine explaining that at least half of the country hunts one sort of fox or another.

Oh, and let them know that you could suggest someone who might be intested in writing those articles.

:nono:

bigben

i will do that.  it seems that is all they want to talk about is coyotes.  here we have a lot more fox then coyotes.  I have read your articles and dave kaproki's and they were all excellent.  thanks for the articles

Maybe Stray......  Gives me a good reason to call and order the Fall issue. I don't recall the letter, but I do recall lance asking us once, on one of the boards to shoot them emails if we liked it.

Thanks for letting me know.

Todd

Predator Hunting is outstanding.I really enjoyed the articles and gained alote of information.I plan to use tips fron articles written by Jay Nestetter,Lance Homman and Donald Lee this season.
I prefer magazines with more information than ads-like this one. This is the best predator magazine to date, and I would love to get a lifetime subscription.
