Al, it sounds like your doing pretty well

I've got a couple of the other ELK coyote howlers, they also use latex bands. I can't make a Power Howler sound worth squat most of the time but the other one I have no problem with. They sound pretty good right out of the package but as the bands get broken in they sound even better (to my ears anyways). Maybe the Copenhagen helps a little bit too

My neighbor's bull stepped in a groundhog hole last week and broke it's leg, so I had to shoot it. Now it has a broken leg and a gunshot wound. I don't know why you gotta shoot em, I guess it helps the healing process or something. If he don't get better pretty soon, I'm gonna shoot him again I'll tell ya that much right now.

I have this call and it is easy to blow but is not very loud. In the woods it works fine. I also have one of Cronk's open reed buffalo horn calls and it is much louder. Its not hard to blow either and really reaches out there.
