:nono: Mr. Jim :rolleye: Hey, I saw an airey plain fly over once.

pitw,
There may be another one in Ky that's closer but I know in Tennessee... Nashville.
I would guesstimate, with traffic, about a 1&1/2 to 2 hour drive from the southern entrance of LBL, then another 30 minutes to Wranglers campground, that is unless you are riding with CCP... then it's only a 15 minute ride.  :laf:

Born and raised in the southern highlands of Appalachia, I'm just an ol' country boy who enjoys calling coyotes... nothing more, nothing less.

Think back to when you saw that airey plain.  Weren't you in the service at the time and stationed on an Air Force base?

Thanks for that coyotehunter_1 and I won't be riding with CCP then as I kinda/sorta like looking at the country side instead of screaming and such :laf:.  What address would I put into google driving directions for the wrangler campground?  Hate to bother you all but I'm interested.

Jerry,
Nope... We only had hot air balloons back then.

pitw ,
From Nashville, try the Dover Inn (Dover, Tn.). It's right across the road from the southern entrance of LBL. The Trace is the main road running north/south through LBL. Wranglers campground is in Ky, pretty easy to find... at least in the daylight.

Edit: You thinking about driving down?

I am officially done work until May 1 as my last customer to pay, paid up today :yoyo: and i've been reading this LBL stuff to the wife and she said today "*&(% off to the hunt as you want to meet those guys more than sleep on the couch".  I may not make it this year but you can put as much money on it as you want that I'll be coming one time to do what she said.  I kinda/sorta like to plan some before heading out so I'm asking questions and appreciate your answers.  I wouldn't come to hurt a coyote as I'd hate to take one away from you guys  but I'd sure enough like to see a Walnut or Oak tree .

If you make it to Nashville Barry, I guarantee that someone will be there to pick you up. And you can be sure there will be a bunk for you at Wranglers. In fact, I'll pick you up, and you can stay in cabin A25.

Jim that link is in my favorites under a new folder[learnt that much now] called LBL and it never ceases to amaze me what you can do with these F'N geek machines.   :yoyo:   I want to thank you for enriching my bleak existence on this planet :bowingsmilie:.

I could only so far get from Metiskow,AB,Canada to Kentucky on the directions thingy and it's only 1,932 miles one way and 2,400 miles if I go the other it showed.  I'll be thinking hard on this one.
