Seeings as I chafe BAD on occasion I must say I prefer gold bond medicated powder. The monkey butt is cheaper but you dont quite get the cooling effect you get with the gold bond.

Also if you use the gold bond dont lay naked in front of a fan after applying. You can frost bite parts of your anatomy that arn't meant to get that cold.

Climbing mountains or just hiking in the woods with a pack on your back sweating like a pig, rifle slung over your shoulder, eating man food for a week, drinking the fire water... seriously, it happens. Baboon ass...... it's real.



So, what's the best thing to carry along on a pack trip to battle this delicate condition in you fellows experience?

For me, I've found that dippin' my dirty sweaty butt in a creek once in awhile along with some baby wipes does wonders.... If you get an outbreak of baboon ass.... Desitine is your huckleberry! Wonder if someone could package it in a bingo dobber type applicator?
