Stupid idea?

I'm still having second thoughts as to whether or not something like this will unfold the way I initially planned.
But since I already own the domain name for a minimum of one year, and went through the motions of putting a site on it, I cant see just wrapping it up and not knowing.

So I'll dink with it for a year, and see where it goes.
Also any others ideas, I'm willing to listen.

I would like to put up a photo gallery. So if anyone's willing to supply some fodder to get that started I'd be much obliged. Pics of your kids huntings, the neighbors kids, kids hero pics, you get the basic idea.

Send them to webmaster@youthhunt.net, if you would.

Or if I have your permission to harvest them from the forums here for the this gallery, post a link to the post and I'll get them from there.

Boss - Ya got me to thinking....It's late and I'm tired.... I think what your trying to do is a great idea. There seems to be some very good comments and suggestions already made here. I'm by no means a sales person or marketer....BUT, WHAT IF.....You could put something together that could be printed here from the site, maybe promoting your newest invention. We could all print it out and pass it out to our kids and youngsters.....which in turn could take it to school and pass it out amongst their peers, buddies, and maybe a few teachers. With the right content ya might could stir up enough curiosity to get folks looking at it? The same flyer's could be passed to our local DNR offices, and sportsman banquets. Just a thought ....

Like I said earlier - I'm tired so if I'm way off course you can get on to me when your feeling better....

No there's nothing out of line with that suggestion at all.
Kind of a good idea actually.

I do need to make the place a little more presentable before we do something like that though.
Get a few more hunts listed on there, get a gallery up, etc.

Not exactly sure the age group of kids pictures you are looking for but any pictures I have posted with my Grandsons you are welcome to use. cc

If anyone who's willing to let me use their youth pics, knows where they are in the forum, and can post a link to them, I'll go through them and download them.
But I'm just too strapped to go searching through everything right now.
