Set what way?

And when you say it's not working, what is not working?
This is a user preference and thats adjusted by the user, which option are you trying to set it at and it's, "not working?"

The only information adjustment in your profile that requires re-authentication Barry would be your email address or password.
So if you dont change either of those you'll be fine.

It'ls OK now. I went to preferences and UNchecked the box for "return to topics after posting by default." It is just backwards from what I thought it would be.

Now every time someone sends me a pm I get a warning/notification come up on my screen when I refresh the forum board.
