I've seen a lot of these and everyone had either one or no testicles. That somehow causes them to keep their velvet.I would guess from lack of testosterone.

There's a possibilty that #17 is a doe or just a buck with no testosterone like Rifle223 siad maybe no testicles they cant shed their velvet without testosterone and sometimes they can't shed their antlers. The cool thing is if they don't shed their antlers they will keep building up on top of each other. I saw a 170 doe because of it one time. None the less you have some great bucks #16 is gonna be a DAD next year!
