  As most of you know I don't smoke in my house so last night[just after dark I stepped out the door for a smoke like always and I had just lit it and turned around to see this



I wasn't expecting it and did the thing all animals do when surprised[bolt like "L" for a bit and then look back to assess the situation].  When I got to the look back part my slippers were on the deck too.   The dang kid thought it fairly humorous[His time will come] and did the  for a bit.  I'm pretty easy going so took it all in stride[took more strides to get back to the deck than leaving it I'll admit].  Then as ma was off on another foray with her 4H stuff and not expected home early we all were in bed when I hear her drive in around midnight.  I heard the van door slam then a few moments later a aaarrrrgggghhhh type of sound that I'm sure if I had caught it on some kind of audio catching device would have been an instant hit on the Foxpro circuit.  Then a mufffled thud as she had back peddaled and landed on her tush with stuff flying. because she had seen it from this angle in the moon light.



When she came in the house she was saying words[in a raised voice I might add] that would make sailors, long shoremen, ranchers and pretty much anyone blush.  I feigned sleep but that was futile as the indignity she suffered needed to be rewarded.  After much verbal abuse and the threat of actual physical violence I retreated to the kitchen, made some popcorn and laughed :roflmao: :roflmao: :roflmao: :roflmao: :roflmao: :roflmao: :roflmao: :roflmao: until I about  'd. 
  The turkeys are staying away from the step this morning cause they got to see it from this angle as they came towards the house.

I got a coyote decoy never have used it for hunting (to big for me to carry) .... put it at the entrance door to my garage.  I think I know what your wife said.     mine just didn't say 'eh at the end of it!  :roflmao:

Even the poor dog just got it.  I was outside tinkering when I happened to be looking at the house and that dambed coyote fell over and off the step.  Poor old Duke must be an animal cause his first instinct was exactly like mine as he came off his place[in front of the door ] and followed my steps almost exactly. :roflmao: :roflmao:  Then he looks back and wasn't being followed so he took to barking and carrying on[showed that coyote who was boss]. :roflmao: :roflmao: :roflmao: :roflmao: :roflmao:
