Foxpro FX3 Help

I recently purchased a FX3. I have attempted to download the reprogramming utility from Foxpro, including the 98se driver and zip reader. I have windows 7. the zip reader and 98se driver loaded correctly but the reprogramming ytility would not. Does anyone have any suggestions and have they had this problem?

I think,,,, You only need the Windows version utility for the FX3. I don't think you need the other stuff. You may be having conflict issues between the programs.

Does the programming utility show when you go to the start button?? It should also be on your desktop.

I just use Windows to load sounds on my Scorpion. When I plug in the connecting cord from the Scorpion to the usb port the computer sees it just like a flash drive. I have saved all my sounds from Foxpro on my computer. I just arrange the sounds in the order I want them on the call and copy them to the call. You do have to number them 001, 002, 003 etc. if I remember correctly. Like you, I had trouble using the Foxpro utility program???

I finally figured it out. I too was going to copy and paste into the caller the easy way, but wanted to try the print list option on the programmer. There was no compatability issue, I just had to take an extra step that is not in the instructions.

Just goes to show, when you decide to ask for help, the answer hits you in the face, just like stupidity pie!!!

my brother has always had a hell of a time with his, now it sits on his shelf........hasnt used it in a year or so ? not sure if its the fx3 or is there an fx5 ? one of them fx's with the remote that has numbers and call listing on it.

The FX3 has a paper sound list on the remote & the FX5 has the sounds on the remote all lit up. If it's an FX5 I'll give him $50 for it. I mean it is just setting there ya know.
