2010 LBL

I didn't take nearly as many pics as some so this won't take long.  I put them in a slide show ala Semp style for your viewing pleasure. 

I can honestly say without a doubt that I've never had the pleasure of being around this many good guys in one place.

I think the goofiest bastid was Doug, aka Wildwildwest.

My favorite LBL moment was finding out Doug & Chet are cousins & hadn't seen each other in 30 some years & the look in their eyes when they told me about it. Thank You Chet & Doug for sharing that with me.

My next favorite moments  were seeing everybody make it back to camp safely at the end of the day.  So many things can happen out there & with the wet muddy conditions it could have gotten bad quickly. I only heard of one near accident & it was a truck that slid off the road into a ditch. But the fella eased her up out & made it back unscathed.

The folks that donated to the drawing went way over the top on prizes. I won't mention who all donated because I will leave somebody out & that wouldn't be fair. So THANK YOU to all that donated the great gear for this years hunt.

To everybody there I would like to say THANK YOU for putting up with me & for allowing me to be a part of this.

Ya Know HaMeR,

Had I not met you during this trip I feel that it wouldnt have been complete! I really enjoyed hanging out with ya and I do hope you can make it next year! If ya cant I'll just load up and come up to YANKEEville!!! Glad you made it home safe!!

P.S.  On the way home I figured out why I gravitated toward's you In a crowd!!!

Al-- You're Welcome. I hope you can make it next year. Redbird was a lot of fun but I could tell by Friday it just wasn't the same for the LBL veterans. I was happy for them they got to get back to where it belongs. In the LBL.

Chet-- It was good to meet you as well. Thanks for the tips you shared about calling those coyotes on that cattle farm up here. I appreciate the time you took to help me. I was proud to hand that call to Kurtis on behalf of everybody there. Thanks for allowing me to do that.

Brad-- We had a blast didn't we??    Thanks for making it great.

Doug-- Thanks for the kind words. I enjoyed talking with you too. I really hope to make it next year as well. And you're Welcome up here anytime. 

BTW Doug-- I've seen an awful lot of pics from there & I don't think I look like Brad at all. You must have got your bell rung too many times last Wednesday.  :roflmao: :roflmao:
