i know you guys on here are going to say yea whatever this guy is full of it but honest to God this is true. last year i was snarin coyotes here where i live. i had a snare chewed in to. there was blood and hair all over the place. i followed the blood trail for around a hundred yards before it petered out. i was sure it probaly had bled to death. couple days later i decided to go callin. i sat up about half way up the mountain behind my house. ther is a nice wide bench that goes a pretty good way around the mountaln. ive called there several times but never had any luck. got settled in and gave a couple soft calls on rabbit distress, nothin happened so i got a little louder about 5 minutes into the set up i heard one coming up the ridge. when i finaly seen it there was 2 coming full throdle . i settled in one the lead dog a gave a soft whistle, bang dropped in its tracks. before i could chamber a nother round the second one was gone. went a good my dog and headed home. took her in the basement to skin her and felt something in her fur under her throat. i figured it was a cuckle burr so i grabed hold. i about tripped out when i seen what it was, it was my snare around her neck! that was one coyote that must have been ment for me to get. i know it sounds far feched but it is true. i mounted her a shes now standing in my living room.if i can figure out how to put pictures on her ill post one

a friend of mine had one chewed through this year and caught the same dog a week later with the other cable still on it.  I believe ya !!  I didnt know they'd chew through like that till he showed me.

i guess they have some pretty tough teeth. thats about 3 or 4 that ive had chew out. all the blood where that one chewed out must have come from its mouth cause she wasnt cut no where except a couple nicks on her legs

When it comes to coyote stories I believe them all unless they happen to have an amphibian involved at which I tend to balk a mite.  These animals are tough and it's amazing what they can do.
I say what I think not think what I say.

I had one pull stakes and carry the trap in his mouth and I lost him in the snow one time.........If I werent there I would not have believed that......Ya just never know what they will do next.
