Nice evening ride in Alaska

Went on a nice thirty mile ride this evening, the cold has broke for the time being, a balmy 30 degrees.  Took the snow machine out before heading to Colorado and Wyoming tomorrow.  No hunting or calling just a nice ride, ran into this nice young cow and a beautiful sunset.

Looks really good there and the temperature sounds better than here.  I just got back home from visiting the grandkids and it is 12 degrees.

I am just wondering if this trip to Colorado and Wyoming is like people around here do in the winter - going to a warmer place.  Most that get out of town here go to Florida or Arizona, but if since you live in Alaska Colorado and Wyoming might be a similar change in temps.

For sure great weather for riding. Its currently 36 degrees at 8:00pm here and was a hair over 40 most of the day.  :biggrin:

I had to run one of those swamp donkey's off my truck yesterday. She was licking the road salt off.  :nono:
