Been AWOL

Things ain't been going to good down here in the desert.  If'n I ain't been laying in a hospital bed I been sitting in the easy chair.  I'm about ready to tell them the hell with it cut my damn feet off and attach some roller skates to the nubbings.  The worse part is the doc said no beer, wine or liquor of any sort!!  Today is one of the few days I been able to get around a little, so I think I'll have a beer and get caught up on some postings.

I just checked this AM & seen your last day here was the 9th. I was only gonna give you another day or two & then the search party was being sent out!! 

Hate to hear of your troubles John but I'm glad we still have you around if that helps you any.

There was plenty of us noticing that you were missing in action.     I also knew you were going through some trials with your feet so I didn't want to pester you none. 

I hope things start turning around for you.

I don't mean to pry.  But did you consider looking over in Europe (Germany) for a doctor?  My friend's daughter damaged her feet severely in a fall through a ceiling down in Mexico.  The doctors there, and in Canada/US botched things up over the course of nine operations.  Told her she would never walk again normally, or be able to have children due to the weight her feet would have to bear.  She ended up over in Germany (was married to a hockey player on the German National team).  The German doctors repaired her feet in one operation.  Said that Europe is way further advanced than the US and Canada in medical procedures.  My friend's daughter is pain free with three beautiful children. 
I hate to hear what you are having to endure.  Meantime we'll keep you in our prayers that you will get some relief.

I've noticed your absence too John, hate to hear about the pain your going through... Strange they say the same thing with my foot problems with the alcohol....     
Yeah sit me down with nothing to do and take that away too...     just ain't right I tell ya.     Take care of your self, hope they heal up soon for you.
