Good for him!. Crazy? I don't think so. He says he was a Vietnam Vet who went off the deep end when he got home. I know a lot of guys like that. They never really came home. They got spit on and were treated horribly. Society through them out so they dropped out. They still live the war in their minds. One thing is for sure.... Don't f...K with them. That azzhole on the bus learned an easy lesson. Some of these guys would have killed the young punk.

You can't win a situation like that. If the young man wins, he just beat up an old man. If he looses, he just got his a$$ kicked by an old man.
