Got a feel good PM today.

Got a PM from a young lad who started hunting this winter and appeared to need a bit of support even if it was only by PM and snail mail.  He would get discouraged a bit but would then perk up and go again until this happened .

i got my first yote today! oh how awesome it was!

I set bait out yesterday, i went out and sat on this morning at 7 am, and at 740, this guy came along, he was at around 110 yards and just about to go behind a pile of brush so i decided to take the shot, i barked at hi, got him to stop, and bang, he dropped like a stone, i hit him just above the shoulder but the exit wound on the other side was closer to his spine? Anyhow, it is actually a girl, around 35 pounds i figure, sure felt like it when i finished carrying it home haha.

Barry! I read your post on fnf, and that occasional pm and "snail mail" meant alot more to me then you think, it really helped me get my first yote, an second, yes thats right, this morning at around the same time, but the only difference this time, is i called this bugger in! :D

I called 3 in actually, only shot one, but she dropped faster then the first one! I really do owe these to you barry.

got the call i used( the one u sent me) in the picture, much smaller then the first one ,but i don't care, any kill is a trophy to me :)
