Geeeee whizzz… some one must have left an impression on Iris.

I bought a couple of Bushnell factory refirb rifle scopes, they work smoother than some of the other Bushnell's I own. Think about a product that is factory refurbished.  Usually this means a specially trained technician, not a assembly line robot, has worked on your camera. The camera has been taken apart by hand, inspected and repaired to their quality control specifications. The repair center technician is held responsible for their work. That said, you should have new camera that is better than "new".
