Between the bar-b-q and the cool beer and all the music. Please don't forget what this weekend is really all about.

Give thanks to the men and women who have given the most for you and me.

For we are bless to live in a country where we are free.

We must keep this country free for our children and theirs as well.

To all of you men and women thank you and God Bless.

Spent Memorial Day in the VA Hospital up in Phoenix.  I must say I can't remember when I had a better day.  We had guys from WWII, Korea, Viet Nam, Iraq, Afghanistan and points beyond, Soldiers, Marines, Air Men and Sailors.  Most families even managed to smuggle in some contraband adult beverages.   :innocentwhistle:  Patriotic music all day long and well into the night, even had a live country western band and all the grounds were draped in the Red White and Blue.

It was truly a fine day to be not only an American but a American Veteran.

Damn I love this country of ours.
When they come for mine they better bring theirs
