One of the biggest problems we face as Right Wing Conservatives is that we are very prone to believing everything we hear and read about Obama, or any other Liberal Politician.

It makes us look uninformed.  It damages our credibility, and most importantly, it takes away from the really stupid and damaging things Obama has REALLY done.   If we want to attack him, there are real things out there to attack him on.    This isn't one of them.   

Snopes the E mail you received and you will find that it is BS.    It's one of those Paul Harvey things where you really need to know the rest of the story.

Al, I think you are a very nice guy and not sure if your comments are an attempt to being Political Correct, I hope not as I hate Political Correct, its destroying our country, I don't trust Snopes any more than I trust Obama, he lied his way into office and if someone stretches the truth a little about him he deserves every bit of BS that is dumped on him. Uninformed " Not Hardly"  in my opinion an uninformed person would be the first to run to snopes . Even if the information in the E-mail is not in his books some of the things he has  said shows its in his heart.
1- He goes over to the Middle East and bows down and kisses the ass and apologias to these rag heads as if America has mistreated them?
2- He said America was not a Christan nation anymore and the Muslims have alway been a part of America and always will be?
    Has he gone to church since being in  office?
3- He trashes the Police Department in Mass. for arresting a belligerent Black man?
4- He criticizes Arizona for passing a law that will help to protect the citizens of Arizona and even treating to sue them?
5-He has lied about his association with some of the most radical people in America?
6-He refused to intervene and stop the trial of 3 Hero Navy Seals that risk their live to capture one of the most dangerous Terrorist in the world?
7-He was member of a Church for 20 years that had a very Radical Pasture that G--D-- America and claimed he never hear any radical sermons?
8-He thinks the Terrorist that planned the attacks on 9/11 should receive the same benefits as American citizens, does not even want to cal them Terrorist?
9-He is doing everything in his power to make America into a Socialistic country?
10- He threw Arlen Specter under the bus, who deserved it but he lied to him about what he would do for him?

I could go on for ever with all the s--- he's done , do I feel sorry for him? Will I ever support him in any way. L NO and I won't be using Snopes to make my opinion.

As I said, there are more than enough things to say about Obama.   Things that are in fact true.

My point was simply this....

If you go into an argument unarmed, chances are pretty good you are going to get your butt handed to you by someone who is.

An uninformed person believes every thing that is E mailed to him or that he reads on the internet.  An INFORMED person takes the time to do the research, gather his thoughts, and prepare his case.   THEN he attacks and he does so with indisputable facts.    Not stuff like this.........

You can go here,   http://www.snopes.com/politics/obama/ownwords.asp   scroll all the way to the very bottom and READ what was actually written.   The statement quoted in that e mail is a lie.  He NEVER said that.  What he did say, is, I think, something every American would embrace if they believe we are a country of values and principles.   Again, read what he actually wrote, and if you disagree with it, then you need to go back and read it again slowly.    

As for political correctness, you got the wrong guy.   I'm as politically UNcorrect as you can get.   But I'm not going to get into a debate with a liberal democrat over his President with information that can make me look like a fool.
