North to Alaska

Well, I finally got everything packed, loaded in the Jeep, and hopefully nothing forgot. (I can't imagine what it would be, I feel like I've packed everything I own   )
I fly out of Omaha at 7:00 am, so I need to try and get a little shut eye and be back up at 3:30 am, we'll see if that happens   I'm slightly pumped and checklists keep goin through my mind. I'm scheduled to hit Anchorage at 12:15 (3:15 central time), a day of sight seein, a day of packin, and off to see if we can't hook up with a moose or two.    I have two new cameras and about 12 gigs of memory,  , so I hope to be able to take a few pictures and share my adventure with ya'll when I get back. Take care all, and I should see ya in about two weeks.

Got home from Anchorage safely, rained the six hour drive home.  Scott is asleep, off to breakfast in the morning, will start checking gear and packing tomorrow and head out Monday in the Argo for the low country.  Situation will dictate the days ahead, scheduled to come out Thursday and head out again Friday, Son-in-law will take Scott and I by boat down the Tanana river then up the Salchaket then up Clear Creek to hunt for four days.  Hopefully will then have time to head to the high country to hunt bears.  All can change with the harvesting of a moose or two as it takes a complete day to butcher and pack one.  We will hunt hard so we die tired.

  Scott I'm betting your ass will be dragging from tired .  That John is why I won't be seeing you in your country cause when I go on vacation I like to relax and your idea of hunting seems to always involve some labor .

Scott I know that you and John will have a great time and a great hunt.  If you haven't killed a moose before you are going to be suprised when you walk up to it laying on the ground.  My first impression was "Oh hell what did I get myself into."  Plenty of pictures is mandatory.

Hey all, made it back safe and sound, and yes, I spent a lot of today sleepin. 
Had an awesome time, other then flying sucks !! 
Between weather, and plans changing throughout the trip, I didn't take as many
pics as I had anticipated, but I will get a few up in the next couple of days.
