If anyone thinks that a Red Light does not affect a Coyote, click on the picture and watch the reaction of the Coyote when the Camera come on, a small Red Light starts to blink.

I'm no expert, but those that think they are say that the animals do sense the light intensity. That's why they say to use the bottom of your beam, red or not, when panning the area & don't use the center till you're ready to shoot.
Maybe if the light was aimed a little higher it would make a difference.  :shrug:
W/ all the activity you're getting there it would be a good place to experiment.  :wink:

Its been my experience that they seem to notice the light coming on or off  and also the movement of the light as well as the intensity.
If the light is dim and real still they dont seem to notice unless its windy.....then shadows come into play..... :wink:

I find that no electronic gimics at all don't spook them but I sure can :doh2:.

Mr JohnP, Yea I been goofing off on this one  :laf: . Just have not had time to go after him, but I got more video this past weekend, don't know if its the same Coyote, there is just so much foliage right now where he lives makes it hard to catch a good wind for the right set up but believe me I got his address wrote down.
