I've wanted to hunt moose for a long time & reading these posts only has heighten that desire! 
Thanks so much for sharing the whole trip w/ us. It is a wonderful write up & to me is worth the time you put into! 

Now that it is all said & done what would you have done different?

I really can't think of much of anything I'd do differently. Sorry. There
were several things that happened on the trip that weren't "in the plans",
but nothing really could have been done differently to avoid them.

Great read.  Thanks for the good story and congratulations on getting a moose with a bow!  That is something.

I've been gone quite a bit, even did some moose hunting unsuccessfully.  High winds and unusually warm weather with still moonlit nights made it a poor time to be hunting where I was last week.
