went hunting this evening

went out this evening to see if I could find a turkey. It went like many of my turkey hunts. I saw a squirrel..... and a decent little 8-point with 5 does......... but no turkeys. Then this guy came around the ridge , and I introduced him to my little friend.

36 pounds according to the scale. He won't be eatin' any more of my turkeys, or the neighbor's sheep.

Thanks everyone. Actually LBLDOG, I killed it with a gun. I do bowhunt now and then but I'm not that good with it.

Nice sized coyote and I must agree with the others. You do have a cutie for a sidekick there. I love pictures like that when the family is involved.

That is a nice coyote BB!! Good thing ya got it when you did too. Looks like it has the fawns all hiding on the drier.

That fawn was a roadkill, but the coyotes must be working on them because I only saw one set of twins this year and usually all the does have twins. Some didn't even have a single.

Can't blame it all on the coyotes though, we have a lot of bear and they get the fawns too.

That cutie is my baby girl and my very best hunting buddy. And yes, she does shoot a lot better than me.
