It's not! :nono: It's not even in the top five most of the time, but retailers want consumers to think it is.
The Sunday before Christmas is usually the biggest shopping day of the year.
There's a lot of people in the stores the day after Thanksgiving, and understandably so since there's Christmas shopping to do and the majority of America's 9 to 5's have it off, but it's still not the biggest shopping day of the year, and certianly doesnt generate the most revenue. :nono:

Obviously created by one hell of a smart fella, as a ploy to get the women folk out of the house the day after Thanksgiving so us men folk can lounge around.

I'm Thankful for all you guys here at FNF  and thanks for being here. I wish ya all a Happy Thanksgiving, and Barry wish you a Happy Thursday since you guys do it differently up there.

Here ya go Barry      http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black_Friday_%28shopping%29
It is a CRAZY day for shoppin. People get trampled  :doh2: Some places do put out some
pretty crazy specials, then some stores have like 3 of there super duper sale items to get ya
there, so there's a line up of like 100 people outside a door 6 hours before the place opens up,
that are gonna have a free for all over these 3 items.  :laf:
You can get some pretty good deals, but it's not worth puttin up with the crowds.
