Better late than never, so I want to wish all you guys and gals a Happy Thanksgiving after the munching and burping is probably over.  In the case of Weedwalker Ed, it may last a few extra days considering the main entree had to be barbecued coyote spiced with his special Coyote Helper.  Yummy!

On a more serious note, I sincerely hope all of the FinsnFur family have a holy and joyous holiday season and a better year in 2011 than you have ever had before. With the help of the Good Lord, I apparently have finally fully recovered from the health issues that plagued me for about two months.  I am down to 203 lbs from 227 lbs., and feeling better than I have in a long time.  More bounce to the ounce these days, and I am pumped up pretty strong after my recent good week spent with Snowcamoman visiting and hunting with me.  Sent that rascal back to  Alaska with good memories of old Kaintucky and coyote hunting with Possumal.

First time out after Snow's return to Alaska represents the first time I have coyote hunted this year with a clean bill of health.  Took my 14 year old grandson, Brycen, made 4 stands, called in 3, and he missed his first shot ever taken at a coyote, a simple wide open shot at 50 yds, but recovered and did the dirty deed when I stopped him at 125 yds.  He didn't hit him where I would have liked him to, so no picture will be posted due to the mess he made of that song dog, but the good news is I have another dyed in the wool coyote hunter out of my grandson pool.  Couldn't get him a shot at the other two called in, but that ain't all bad either, as he sure got excited and pumped up at seeing them come in to the call.  I predict he is going to be a cool customer now that he has that first one under his belt. He can sure shoot on the bench rest, as good as his older cousins.

It was a good day with Friends & Family Barry. Our Toronto Friend Nick even made it down to share in our yearly Thanksgiving festivities once again.  :yoyo: :yoyo:
