With all the things happening here, my wife's 14 yr old cousin just got shot above the ankle Saturday with a .243 by a boy that was hunting with him, his grandfather just asked them if the guns were on safety and as soon as he said it the gun went off.   He had extensive surgery and they think they can save his foot.   I dont want to go into details and yes there were adults there but I thank god he wasnt killed.   Her family has suffered enough, this year.
