Those are some great stop action photos.   They have radar for ears.   :laf:

Jim, delete this if it is not OK to link to another forum.

That rule, used by other forums is for those afraid of having their members stolen.
I'm not holding anyone hostage here  :nono: infact I got some I want stolen and no one will take them. :alscalls:

Those epics are awesome! I wonder how far away the photographer was during most of that. That is pretty cool.
The way they can hear mice under the snow, I'm surprised he didnt here the guys camera.

Very cool pics.... just a little "trick" you might be interested in... if "right click" on the pics and "copy image location" then you can just click on the insert image and post 'em here...

Edited to remove pics....   don't want no leaches...  :laf:

:holdon: Thats actually not a real good idea.
Thats called leaching, can cause bandwidth havoc with the original site owner, get his site blocked, bandwidth costs added, and send him after us as the source of the leeching.

I've done that before and usually end up with the pic I posted getting deleted by the originating site when they plug the leach.

Now, I just take them straight to photobucket.

Yep, and they are fun to watch when they are working on a mouse they can hear but aren't quite ready to grab.  They move their head and ears, etc. but will NOT move their feet at all till they are ready to pounce.  I think they know from experience that moving their feet transmits warning sound to the rodent via the ground.  When a man approaches, it is funny sometimes to watch the dilemma on the coyote's face and body language:  should I run from this man and blow the patience and time I've invested in being still while this mouse works itself closer?  Or is this man safe enough for me to stick it out here till I catch this mouse (or gopher, etc.)?
