Brothers????

Last year I killed this beautiful coyote on our hunt club.

Yesterday, I killed another one in the same field. Here is a close up of his face.

They look almost identical, same blonde colors. Do you guys think they could be brothers from the same litter?

I dont know if the coyotes are brothers, but you sure cant help but to wonder :confused:

Back on topic, those coyotes could be related.  But then, a lot of coyotes look related to me.   :laf:

Yes, of course they are brothers as shown by the whisker pattern among other things.  Serious coyote callers have moved beyond such simple basics and are more interested in their birth order and the influence that has on their response reflexes to predator calls.  That is the reason you got the first one you did last year and the second brother this year.  :alscalls:

added:  WTG.  Very nice coyotes with pretty markings.

No, I called him in while set up on the ground using a distress call, shot him with a dead coyote load ay about 20yds.
