Obama Birth Certificate a Fake??

At the risk of beating a dead horse (again), I saw this video and it really raises some issues. I know nothing about Photoshop or Adobe Illustrator and thought maybe Richard or Jim or someone here that knows these programs could comment.

They didn't "flatten" the image before posting it on there site. This is a basic process to hide the different layers, it is mind boggling that they didn't do this.

It makes you wonder WHY?

They had to have intentionally put a easy to spot illustrator fake to keep the attention on the birth certificate and away from all his other ridicules BS.

They didnt it post an image, with or without layers. They posted it as a PDF file which stands for Portable Document Format..... a web document more or less which can be easily printed.

When the PDF file is opened with Adobe Illustrator it opens consisting of multiple layers.

Here's the deal, any PDF file opened with Illustrator will do the same thing, it doesnt mean it was created in fake layers and then saved as a PDF. What it really means is this is how Illustrator handles PDF files, which is probably a conversion in itself.

I'm not backing up the black bastid, dont get me wrong...I'm just saying.

After hearing of this a few weeks ago I pulled around 10 documents down and put them in illustrator I found all but two would only have 2 layers. After trying several work documents that were scanned and put in PDF I found it to do the same. Even after running them through a stand alone OCR program then back into illustrator, I still only getting a maximum of 4 layers.

Jim pull the one off the site and you will see around 11 layers, then pull several other PDF files off the same site and you will only see a very few if only one layer.Now I maybe doing something wrong because I did pull it down again Wednesday and only had 9 layers.

The thing is...Illustrator was and is not designed to open PDF files. And theoretically the only pdf files that it would safely open, would be files saved using Illustrators save for editing option right from the git go.

So the big question based off that is, are the files being opened with 11 layers actually AI files originally being opened safely? Or Vice versa?

I seriously think it's part of the conversion process I mentioned before. Which occurs when opening a file with Illustrator which it was not intended. I want to say like from a PDF file created with something other then Adobe Acrobat, but I cant because PDF files can be created from many text/form editors today..... of which Illustrator is not.

Anyway....I'm one of those that think it could definitely be fake, especially after all the controversy over whether or not he was actually born in the US, and no birth certificate being provided for so long.

But I'm not convinced that this guys video clip proves that

That Snopes article doesn't appear to address the Adobe 11 layer problem.

Has any one actually debunked that video in the first post above?

The guy being interviewed on fox news contradicts himself in the next to the last sentence.

Then he says..

Does this mean MOST of the time he is afraid???

I took the first birth record he put out to the internet from the same site and it has 2 layers now taking the newest one it has 9 layers?

if it is so common to have so many layers why dont all the documents on the .Gov site do the same?
