Crazy October?

Here's a photo from 8 AM this morning.






And here's one twelve hours later at 8PM.



We ended up with about 8 inches of heavy, wet snow.  Strange for October?  Yesterday I raked up leaves, and mowed the lawn.  :laf:

Archery season and Fall turkey is in here FOs, but we're not allowed to hunt on Sundays, except fox, coyotes, and crows.  Just have to find some time.

Seems a little early for snow in October, but I love hunting in a fresh snow.   :yoyo:

While I am not sure, I think this is nature's way of telling you that you have "removed" too many groundhogs and it is time for you to clean the firearm for the season.  I know one will come sneaking back, but just ask yourself if you want another snowfall like this or not.    ;yes;
