Another day to be thankful to God

Well, guys and gals, another year has come and gone, and my sweet wife, Nedra, and I are celebrating our 53rd anniversary today.  The Good Lord has been good to me time and time again over the years, but including my meeting Nedra has to rank as His ace card in a stacked deck.   I could have searched the world over and never found another woman like her, one that I could like and love for so long, with no sign of any lessening of those emotions. She has given me five wonderful children, 3 boys and 2 girls, 14 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and 2 more  great granddaughters in the oven nearly done.

I've had my share and somebody else's share of enjoyment, hunting and fishing and taking part in sports all my life, both as a participant and spectator, but none of the best days afield could actually come close to matching up to waking up each day with this sweet girl, the love of my life, and my constant inspiration to never give up. 

I wish the best for all of you in your family life, hoping yours can compare.

Happy anniversary Al and Nedra!  Love reading how happy you are Al (and I've got to believe Nedra is just as lucky).
