Happy Thanksgiving

I just wanted to wish everyone a very happy Thanksgiving. There are times when we all have difficulties, and times when things go well. Then there is tomorrow when we give thanks for all the things we do have. Possibly not as much as some, but if you are eating tomorrow you will be better off than some others in the world. So count your blessings - large and small and have a peaceful Thanksgiving.

OH and as a side note and bit of trivia..... WHo knows why the Pilgrams landed at Plymouth rock?? any one?

They were out of beer. They had to stop to brew beer as it will not ferment properly on a rocking ship. SO they stopped to brew up a batch and stayed for other reasons I bet you dont know.

Turkey, turkey on the table,
let us eat til we're not able.

Pass the platter with the taters,
My tummy feels like one big crater.

Pass the bean dish and the dressing,
My stomach's growling I'm a guessing.

Pass the pickles and some cheese,
and the gravy if you please.

One more plateful just like above,
To the cook I give my love.

Now it's time for pumpkin pie,
with whipped cream too, I'm not shy.

All this food makes me so happy,
Now it's time to take a nappy.
