Lightning!

Last night we had some major storms roll through the area. Well right after the storms passed me I get a txt. My daughter Kara had been struck by lightning! She was by the grace of God OK. She had gone outside to roll up the windows on her moms Jeep when lightning struck right next to her. She got a little shock through her leg and her ears were a ringing from the blast but that was the extent of it. She was Fine this morning other than still a little shook. 

I just thank the Lord that she was not seriously injured.

That doesn't sound good. She's a lucky girl, and thankfully.
I had a SEAL friend tell me once that he saw a guy get struck by lightning and it melted his dog tags into chest.
A couple years ago, the Sheriff was called out here for a missing farmer after a freak lightning storm. They found him charred and barely recognizable, laying in the middle of a corn filed he checked daily.
