Rain everyday for a week so far.
This weekend Saturday morning some places got close to 8 inches in approx 4 hours. With all the hills, and valleys around here the heavy rains are causing some major flash flooding.
I'm on one of the many hills, so it'll never get me, but it's sure tearing everything up around me.
There's an excavator setting on every back road it seems, where they were digging major debris out from under small bridges and rail road crossings waiting for the next run.

That's some serious water you are getting.     The weather seems to be crazy everywhere these days.  Must be global warming.  I'm sure after the big O finally shuts down all of the coal mines, everything will be get back to "normal".

The obama people know you posted this and will have a drone ready for you.

That is A LOT of water and when you get it on top of already saturated ground it sure spells problems.  Now if you were on welfare you would have all sorts of government support sent by the president to help.  Since you aren't you will just have to wait for it to run into the Mississippi and when it reaches New Orleans you can watch the support $ flow.

Sure could use some of that down here.  Going into about our seventh year of drought conditions.  Hit 110 today and melted our cheap plastic thermometer.  Hit 120 in the Phoenix area.
When they come for mine they better bring theirs

It's let up considerably, but we've still had rain everyday even since I put this up. I wish there was a way to get some down there to you and Fos, John. I'd do it in a heart beat.

I would gladly send some Ohio rain down that way too!! Corn & bean fields around here are getting decimated by all the small flash flooding creeks. The corn is just flattened out & the beans have been stripped of their leaves. The ground is saturated & can't take any more water so it's all runoff from now til the rain ever stops. Fence rows look like they are moss covered with all the hay & grasses clinging from them. Hay & crop farmers are taking a big hit this year. I should have taken pics of the groundhog holes out in the bean field yesterday. They were full. Good thing I shot at least one from those holes last week.  :whew:

36 hours now!! The next 8 days here show 40%- 70% chance of t-storms tho. I hope we're clear for at least 4 or 5 days so the river can recede.

Finally slowing down here in NC. Yard is so wet I have to stay on the walk to get to the truck. Tired of the slop.
Take your kids hunting and you won't have to hunt your kids!
