About ready to hit the road. On my way to Auburn University. Daughter is taking some economic lectures/conferences with Mises University next week, as well as a lecture on Constitutional Law with Judge Andrew Napolitano.

Should be a boring week....

I'm sure the hotel will have wi-fi, so I'll likely check-in as the local forecast calls for rain pretty much the entire time we're there.

Rained fairly heavy from Houston thru Lafayette. Stopped for the night in Biloxi. Daughter and I played the one armed bandit (slot machines) and blackjack. She's ahead a little over 100 and I'm in the hole by about 40.

Sleeping in, then it's on to Auburn tomorrow afternoon.

Made it back yesterday afternoon.

Rained most of the week in Auburn. I spent my time at the movie theater and reading books.
We stopped off in Lake Charles Louisiana on the way back. Stayed at the L'Auberge du Lac Resort and Casino. Daughter dropped a dollar in a slot machine and won $75! She immediately made the wise decision by proclaiming she was done!

I ended up loosing $40

I am not real fast, but I am starting to notice a pattern here. Your daughter wins money while you lose money. I think it might be wise to allow her to place your bets.

How did your daughter like the lectures? Is that the judge Napolitano that pops up on Fox Business news (or maybe CNBC) every now and then? Seems like a good person/role model for your kid!

She enjoyed the lectures. She especially liked the Judge's Constitutional Law lectures.
