It's been pretty much lower then average temps all spring here so far. Had a couple days one week that were in the high 50's but otherwise it's been running 20 to 40 degrees. I think Im ready to go mushroom hunting, but it's not going to happen in weather like this. We even had accumulating snow over the weekend again.
I spose you all are filling the kids pools and wearing flop flops. :doh2:

Weve had a few warm days but did get 1" of snow tues. Im glade we are running late this year because im running late. I just got done running 700 ft of waterline and installing city water. My tractor broke down and i need it fixed to mow i should get it done just in time as the grass is almost ready.

Good reminder to get out after morels ASAP.

We have mowed the lawn several times here in Canada  and after only five days of explosive springtime growth it needs mowing again.  Feel sorry for you in colder climates.

Daffodils are bloomed and gone in our yard and tulips almost over, though the big tulip farms nearby haven't peaked yet.  We've had two gorgeous days of sunshine last weekend, raining since.  Hope that wasn't our summer.   Most days are our same steady 55 degrees.

Couple hours north of us.. even closer to Canada...they got 14 inches of snow last night.
At this point spring fishing is merrily a dream

We got 8" last night/today and had 4-6" during the day yesterday. It was wet and heavy last night. It is melting as I write, thank God. Might check the lake tomorrow and see how thick the ice is.
