Finally made it out...

The wife and I have been too busy to get out on Lake Erie to do any fishing all summer. Well, we finally made it out this past weekend. Caught 30 perch on Saturday with a really  slow bite. Sunday was hot, we both had our limits by 11:00 and headed back to the dock. Managed to catch a bonus walleye while we were out there too

What a pile o Perch! I dont think I've caught 30 perch combined throughout my life so far.
Were not even allowed to be caught with 30 perch!!

Yep, mighty fine eating and plenty of it!

Wish I could trade you one meal worth of boneless filleted sockeye for equal perch.

I'd make that trade in a heartbeat...we've been grilling sockeye over the summer and that is some tasty goodies right there. I love perch too, but it's nice to have something different once and a while.

Going to try and fill the cooler again this weekend
