The call is Cocobolo, 243 case for a ferrule and ebony mouth piece.  Castration band for a lip stop.

Very nice Al.  I was thinking along the same lines.  I have some wing bones drying out- one of them is not going to turn out right so it's getting A JC in the middle bone.  Just for shoots and giggles.

What kind of discount could I get if the kisser band was used?  A little dried beef flesh would give it flavor on those long stands.  At full price I couldn't afford beef jerky!     ~KT

That really is a nice looking "Crumpler" and I have to say that it is the first one that I have ever seen pictured.  Of course, with the price you have to pay to get one you can understand why most of us have never seen one.

Honestly, that is a sweet looking call Al. I think that is the first time I've seen a castration band used as a lip stop. Way to give a bit of predator fllavor

I asked a call maker what he would charge me for a Trumpet - and I had to decline.  His was a bit more than I was comfortable paying.  Let's just say I could have bought a couple of Kee's power howlers and a few bucks left over with what he wanted for one.

I was just fooling around.  I posted it on CCO - I don't think they saw the humor in it
