Tripnasty84, best of luck tomorrow.
All I got today was wet.

Went after a blacktail buck, the real rain deer. It was raining lightly at daylight. The best time to hunt wet coast blacktails is in the rain, and it kept raining harder. After walking abandoned roads, through wet brush and grown up clearcuts and sitting on a couple of long calling stands in rain that got heavier by the hour, by noon I was wet to the skin in places despite rain coat and pants. When the going gets tough... I decided to go to town, get something warm and head on home. Never saw a single deer track fresh nor old in any of the road mud.
Oops, I was rifle hunting, not bow hunting so pardon my posting on this thread.
